Terms of Service
Last Updated: February 23rd, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the ActivityLens application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. First-time users must explicitly accept these Terms through the in-app disclaimer before using the app.
Description of Service
ActivityLens is a developer tool that provides real-time visibility into Android app activities through a floating overlay. The app displays the current foreground package name and activity class, maintains an activity transition log, tracks copied package and class names, and includes an app explorer for browsing installed applications and their components. The app is supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob.
Use of Service
You agree to use ActivityLens only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not violate the rights of others. Specifically, you agree NOT to:
- Use the app to monitor other people's devices without their explicit consent.
- Use the app for surveillance, stalking, or any form of unauthorized monitoring.
- Use the information gathered to exploit vulnerabilities in other applications.
- Distribute modified versions of the app that compromise user privacy or security.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Permissions and Risks
ActivityLens requires sensitive system permissions including Accessibility Service access, Display Over Other Apps, Battery Optimization Exemption, and Notification permissions. By granting these permissions, you acknowledge:
- The Accessibility Service can detect which application and activity is in the foreground at all times while the service is active.
- The floating overlay will display on top of all other applications.
- The foreground service will run continuously until you stop it, which may affect battery life.
- These permissions are powerful and should only be granted to trusted applications.
- You are responsible for securing your device and preventing unauthorized access to ActivityLens.
- Some apps may detect the Accessibility Service and may restrict their functionality while it is enabled.
We strongly recommend reviewing Android's accessibility service warnings and understanding the implications before enabling the service.
No Warranty
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. ActivityLens disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
- Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
- Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of displayed activity information.
- Warranties that the Service will be compatible with all devices, Android versions, or OEM customizations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ActivityLens, its developer, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
- Device malfunction or performance degradation.
- Battery drain from the foreground service or overlay operation.
- Any consequences resulting from force-launching activities through the App Explorer.
- Conflicts with system security features or other accessibility services.
- Unauthorized access to your device by third parties.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only on devices you own or have explicit permission to monitor.
- Keep your device secure and prevent unauthorized access to ActivityLens.
- Understand that force-launching activities through the App Explorer may cause app instability or crashes.
- Disable the monitoring service when not needed to conserve battery and system resources.
- Report any bugs or security issues responsibly through the in-app support option.
Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Service. The app may be affected by:
- Android system updates that change accessibility service behavior.
- OEM customizations (e.g., Xiaomi MIUI, Samsung One UI) that restrict background services or overlays.
- Battery optimization settings that terminate the foreground service.
- Future Google Play policy changes regarding accessibility services or overlay permissions.
Features may be modified, added, or removed in future updates without prior notice.
Advertising
ActivityLens displays banner advertisements powered by Google AdMob. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Advertisements will be displayed within the app interface.
- Google AdMob may collect device information for ad serving purposes, subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising through your device's Google ad settings.
- We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party advertisements.
- Ad availability may vary by region and device.
Intellectual Property
All content, branding, code, and design elements of ActivityLens are the property of moalduhun unless stated otherwise. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit permission.
Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by disabling the Accessibility Service, stopping the overlay, and uninstalling the app. We reserve the right to discontinue the Service or remove it from distribution platforms at any time.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and notify users through an in-app dialog that requires acknowledgment before continuing to use the app. Your continued use of the Service following such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the primary developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
