Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ActivityLens (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. First-time users may be required to explicitly accept Terms and related policies in-app before use.

Description of Service

ActivityLens is an Android developer/QA utility that provides foreground activity/package visibility via floating overlay, activity/copy logs, app/component exploration, filtering tools, export tools, and optional ad-supported and in-app purchase features.

Eligibility and Lawful Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful, authorized purposes. You must not use ActivityLens to stalk, surveil, or monitor devices/accounts without explicit authorization from the device owner/user.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for unlawful monitoring or harassment
  • Use collected technical information to exploit vulnerabilities unlawfully
  • Circumvent Android security controls or platform restrictions
  • Interfere with Service integrity, billing flows, or ad systems
  • Redistribute modified builds that misrepresent ActivityLens or compromise security/privacy
  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, store policy, or third-party rights

Permissions and User Acknowledgment

Some features require sensitive Android permissions (for example Accessibility, overlay, notifications, battery optimization exemption). By enabling these permissions, you acknowledge that:

  • Foreground app/activity detection occurs while service is active
  • Overlay may appear over other apps
  • Foreground services may affect battery/resources
  • OEM/Android restrictions may limit behavior on some devices

You are responsible for enabling/disabling permissions and protecting device access.

Ads, Billing, and Third-Party Services

ActivityLens may display ads (Google AdMob) and offer in-app purchase(s) through Google Play Billing. Update flows may use Google Play in-app update services. Third-party services are governed by their own terms/policies. We are not responsible for third-party outages, content, or policy changes.

Exports and User-Directed Sharing

If you export/share logs, you are responsible for the destination and recipients. Do not share confidential or sensitive information unless you are authorized to do so.

Intellectual Property

ActivityLens, including its code, design, branding, and content (except third-party licensed components), is owned by moalduhun or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

License Grant

Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ActivityLens for personal, internal development, testing, and lawful technical purposes.

No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, OR ERROR-FREE PERFORMANCE.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ACTIVITYLENS, THE DEVELOPER, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, BUSINESS, OR DEVICE PERFORMANCE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO USE OF THE SERVICE.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ActivityLens/developer from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, unlawful activity, or violation of these Terms.

Suspension, Termination, and Discontinuation

You may stop using the Service at any time (including by revoking permissions and uninstalling). We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit Service availability at any time, including to comply with legal/platform requirements.

Updates and Changes

Features may be added, changed, or removed without prior notice. We may update these Terms; material changes may be surfaced in-app and may require acknowledgment. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the primary developer’s residence, excluding conflict-of-law principles, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ActivityLens regarding use of the Service.
